A fence is required around all swimming pools or yards which ever you choose. There are very specific codes for this and must be adhered too in order for you to get your final inspection. There are many fence contractors available for you to choose from. Talk to your contractor and get all of the information that you need to choose the right one. You pool contractor should be very familiar with the local codes and ordinances. H2o plus installs fences for our customers and those prices will be included in your proposal.

What happens if we hit rock during the excavation?

All site�s could present a condition known as �unforeseen site conditions� what this means is that unless you are sure that there is nothing in the ground below grade. There is a possibility that you would encounter things such as solid rock, sewer lines, gas lines, telephone lines and so on. By calling 1-800-DIG-RITE before you start your process they will come to your site and locate various underground utilities for you, this is a free service. However they cannot determine if there is rock in the ground. You should discuss these unforeseen site conditions with your contractor and discuss the cost associated with them. Your contractor should be able to furnish you with hourly rates.

Where should the pool be placed in your yard and at what elevation?

There are local guidelines of the placement of your pool in your yard that are control by your planning and zoning office. Such as how close your pool can be placed to side and rear property lines and also how close to your house footprint. You can get a variance on your property lines by going to your local planning and zoning office, this has to be done by the owner of the property. H2o plus tries to encourage the home owner when ever possible to place they pool with in an active visible site line from the home so you can watch your children and their friends while playing in your pool. Pool safety is not something that anyone should ever overlook.

What is the average time of installation for an inground pool?

After you have a committed start and completion date written in your contract the average time for installation is about 3 to 4 weeks. The weather and existing site conditions such as rock removal can extend the time frame by as much as 2 weeks.
